If you need a photographer for anything you need Catie Bartlett, she is absolutely the most talented photographer I have seen and not only that but she is simply a joy to work with. She will make you laugh, and make you feel comfortable in front of a camera. I’m kind of sad the wedding is over because we won’t get to see her! I first met Catie at my best friend’s wedding as she was her photographer. I loved her attitude, creativity, and the end product of her work so as soon as we got engaged I think Catie was the first vendor I booked after the date had been secured at the church. Catie makes the process so easy by getting to know you, meeting with you to get your “vision”, and asking all the questions to make sure she knows what you want captured. We enjoyed shooting our engagement pictures and wedding pictures with Catie. Not only is she an awesome photographer she is a great person too! We are extremely happy with our wedding pictures. We recommend her to all Oklahomans(and beyond)! Book her while you can!!!! We feel very fortunate to have secured our wedding date with her.

Catie went so far above and beyond every expectation I could have ever had for our wedding. Choosing our photographer was the one thing I cared most about through the whole planning process and I couldn’t be happier with how all of our pictures turned out! Before hiring a wedding photographer, I scoured the internet for the perfect fit. I shoot Canon and swore that whoever our wedding photographer would be would shoot Canon as well (because I’m a little crazy). That was before I saw Catie’s work. I hired someone who shoots Nikon and I’m totally good with that decision. Catie’s professionalism and go-with-the-flow vibe was absolutely essential for our wedding day. My husband and I got married outside the day after the El Reno tornado and came to our wedding venue (a backyard) and saw that half of it was flooded and the power was out. As the bride, I was internally freaking out, but was trying to keep calm on the outside.
Knowing that I could trust Catie was so big to me. As a professional photographer myself, having someone there to document our day in an intimate, photojournalistic, creative, and authentic way was top priority. Catie kept me at ease because I could trust her with the photos. Her ideas are wonderful. Her style is timeless. Her personality and presence makes you want to be around her. She knows her stuff, people.
My husband and I were blown away by the photos we received. The day went by so quickly. We looked at them and couldn’t really believe that something so good happened to us.

Not long after I got my start as a hair and makeup artist, I met Catie via Facebook and the rest is history. I’ve seen her beautiful work on portraits, senior photos, but especially weddings. So when my husband and I got married this past summer (with less than two weeks to plan it in, mind you) I knew I wanted Catie to shoot it. I loved her style and knew it would be a perfect match with how I was picturing my wedding day. She worked great with us planning such a last minute affair, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with my photos. They are beautiful and I am constantly getting told how beautiful the wedding day and the photos are.

I hired Catie early on in my wedding planning process. I had zero wedding planning experience, little direction, and awkward modeling skills. Hiring Catie was the BEST decision of my entire wedding! (Other than marrying Alex š ). She is incredibly sweet and patient, and fun to be around. She immediately put my husband and I at ease and made us so comfortable as she was photographing us. She was quick to respond to my MANY questions, gave me a step-by-step guide of how to make my wedding photography that much easier, and had a great sense of humor with my weird requests.
She took her time when editing my pictures and made sure to give me incredibly high quality pictures that I will treasure forever. Not to mention she gave me a ton of them! She made sure I got every shot I wanted, and was so professional about everything. She even got the once-in-a-lifetime shot of my brand-new hubby accidentally whacking me in the face with his jacket! She spent so much time with us on our engagement shoot and wedding day, and never stopped taking pictures. She stayed in contact with me through every step of the process and made sure to keep me informed as she was editing them as well.
Because of Catie’s talent and hard work, I have so many precious keepsakes of my wedding. Not to mention fond memories of the process! There is no way you could go wrong with hiring Catie as your photographer. Her experience will put the most clueless (me) bride at ease! Just make sure to follow Catie’s suggestions about having a photography list before the wedding… and above all – Go With the Flow! Don’t stress if everything doesn’t go perfectly.. your job is to enjoy your wedding day! Catie will make sure you have awesome pictures no matter what.

Catie, Catie, Catie, where do I even begin? Iām sure you can guess that I got our wedding pictures in the mail and of course Iāve already looked through them close to a million times. Words canāt even express how thankful I am for you. Iām one of those girls that has dreamed of her wedding day her whole life, not only was it perfect, but you captured it absolutely perfectly. When the big day is over and life continues, all you have are the memories and the pictures of itā¦ and Iām so happy that we have YOUR pictures to remember it by. I have always admired Catie Bartlettās photography for its professional artistry, and when I considered having my portrait taken, she was the first person I contacted. Her enthusiasm and compassion for a project of self-acceptance assured me this decision would fall perfectly into place, and thatās exactly what happened!
Through every step of the creative process, Catie was organized and attentive as to what I hoped to gain from the experience. She scouted the Oklahoma City area for unique locations, offered advice in wardrobe selection for the photo shoot, and referred me to the wonderfully talented Morgan Black for expert hair and makeup application. Catie guided me through these careful stages of planning, and it felt as though every facet of this experience was being shaped specifically for me.
On the day of the shoot, Catie once again demonstrated professionalism. The locations she chose were stunning, and, with camera in hand, she skillfully directed me throughout the shoot; her genuine encouragement and natural ability to create a lighthearted, fun mood was infectious! It did not take long for me to relax and enjoy every moment, putting all my trust in Catie and her artistic vision.
This project began with a personal goal and ended with a fresh perspective. When I saw the finished product, I was amazed, and I instantly recognized why so many people have trusted Catie Bartlett to photograph their most treasured moments. In my portraits, I feel she captured a āmeā that I thought did not exist, and this is what she does for others, I believe. She has a gift for recording and enhancing on film the emotion of a moment. In mine, she preserved the face of the woman I want to strive to be ā smiling, confident, and fearless.
I am so very grateful for all the hard work that Catie Bartlett put into creating and editing so many gorgeous photographs, and I simply cannot imagine trusting this experience with any other photographer. She has an uncanny ability to capture the moment, to convey feelings with the way two people look at each other, her pictures display the emotion of the event and it is moving to see her end products. I wanted to share my experience in working with Catie as a client. She is very soft spoken and laid back to work with in outlining your likes and dislikes. She wants to know what the environment you hope to create involves and she strives to capture the story on film. She is an artist with her ability to capture light and edit photos to reflect the perfect setting. I valued the pre-meeting we held to discuss our upcoming photo sessions and the objectives for the photos. My husband and I took her advice in locations for our engagement photos and were simply thrilled with the outcomes as they are exactly as we described in the goals for the product. Our wedding photos capture small private moments and portray the fun ā crazy reception as we remember it all happening. Catie is easy to work with and allows pictures to unfold naturally, which is something I appreciated as a nervous bride. As a piece of advice, I would definitely recommend paying the additional fee for having an extra photographer on the set of weddings and events of that nature as both cameras captured moments that were happening concurrently and I couldnāt imagine our photos without any of those pictures! Catie is a talent and my husband and I have recommended her to all our family and friends. We will be repeat customers and feel blessed to call her a new friend!
