My name is Catie, I am a professional boudoir (but I like to call them Intimate Portraits) photographer located in Anchorage, Alaska. I made the shift from primarily being a wedding photographer (don’t get me wrong, I still absolutely love weddings and will continue to photograph them!) in August of 2021 when I signed the lease on a studio space in downtown Anchorage, looking for a refresh in my life and career.
It has taken off like wildfire, and let me tell you, we are all having an absolute BLAST. Shoots with me are very fun, relaxed, and joyful. I do not allow any sort of negative self talk once you walk through my doors – you’re a beautiful and perfect human being just as you are. In the words of Moira Rose,
“Take a thousand naked pictures of yourself now. You may currently think, “Oh, I’m too spooky.”, or, “Nobody wants to see these tiny boobies.” But believe me, one day you will look at those photos, with much kinder eyes and say, “Dear God, I was a beautiful thing!”
So come in, lets have a couple drinks together while we shoot, and let’s make you feel absolutely incredible in your body (because you are!). My space is LGBTQ+ friendly, so come as you are, who you are, and loving yourself enough to celebrate you.
