I knew I would like Zack and Erica from the moment we started talking about their engagement session.
They told me they met in college bowling class – and people who like to bowl are awesome. It’s just a fact.
They’ve been really good friends for years, when Zack was finally able to convince Erica to give him a shot.
He managed to convince her to give him a shot after 8 years of friendship, and they dated for a short 7 months before Zack pulled his Bronco up outside of the salon she worked at, blasting Something I Need by One Republic and down on one knee – and waited for her to wonder what was going on and to venture outside so he could ask her to be his wife.
So, Erica surprised Zack by getting driven to the end of their ceremony aisle in his beloved Bronco – adding an incredibly meaningful touch to the beginning of their ceremony.
This wedding has officially been dubbed “Pinterest Paradise” so, please feel free to pin away, because all of their decor was so, so perfect. With a beautiful vintage theme, the whole family came together to help them decorate their perfect day, and had many do it yourself touches.
The love this family showed for these two was absolutely incredible. The whole day was overflowing with kindness, love, and meaningful moments. Love letters, and tears were shared many times over as the course of the day went on. The ceremony was held at Darlington Chapel in El Reno, Oklahoma, and was perfect. With so many emotions flying, everyone in attendance could tell these two love each other so incredibly much, and will be so, SO happy together.
This blog post is…so, so long. How could it not be? So grab your favorite snack (peanut butter m&ms maybe??) and settle in, because this wedding was incredible. A HUGE thanks goes out to Anna Lee for being an amazing second shooter!
Enjoy!
